Register HERE for the online workshop on Saturday, January 25th at 11:00am!

Somatic Sobriety offers a monthly workshop to explore somatic practices as part of your unique sobriety journey!  ALL levels of experience with somatics or recovery are welcome and affirmed here, and these workshops are curated with newcomers in mind. Longterm sobriety, or sober-curious? Seasoned practitioner, or never practiced somatics before? Come on in!

You will be invited into meditative movement, sensory exploration, and gentle breathwork, to cultivate your attentional tone and familiarity with your embodied experience. There will also be opportunities for written reflection and group sharing. This workshop will contain a variety of practice options, but zero commands: everything here is optional while we seek to generate basic safety, dignity, and connection.

Sliding scale registration is offered; please pay what you are able. A limited number of lower cost spots are available; please email somaticsobriety@gmail.com to inquire about paying below the sliding scale.

Our facilitator, Rayleen Courtney is a trained and experienced somatic guide and educator, with a distinct passion for recovery-informed, trauma-sensitive embodiment practices. She is in longterm recovery from substances addiction, and has extensive experience facilitating recovery spaces.
